destroyed

The baby has successfully destroyed my digital camera. After countless attempts, he has now destroyed the lens/zoom function. I will have to take it to the repair shop today and hope it'll be okay. I am no longer worried about repairs because I know where to take my camera already. However, my problem is if the damage is reversible. If not, I will have to purchase a new one. Aside from the fact that I don't want to buy yet, I also do not know which one to get. So I'm crossing my fingers and hope that it will be okay. I have to admit it's also partially my fault for letting him play with it. But it's already happened so I can't really do anything anymore. He actually said sorry to me last night.
