say sorry

The bf's brother arrived yesterday from the metropolis. His brother asked him to fetch him from the airport and so he did. His brother had no checked in luggage so he was able to get in the truck right away. Our airport here is small. The arrival area has very limited space and parking is at a minimum. As they were preparing to leave, the policeman signaled the bf to go ahead. He couldn't proceed yet because a mother and son tandem was crossing in front of his vehicle. The bf waited until the boy had moved to the side before going. He was surprised to have hit something in front of him. The truck actually lurched and he was scared for a teeny bit. When he opened his windows, he saw that he had hit the boy's trolley. The mom and the bf exchanged words and he was asked to move to the side. The bf being himself, didn't stop but went on ahead.

This morning, he was called to the police station because the mom apparently filed a complaint. The bf went alone and they settled the matter amicably. The complainant didn't expect to be remunerated for the trolley but only wanted an apology. from him The bf willingly gave it to her and it was over in just a few minutes. Oooopps!

sick

I've been sick since I traveled with the bf and is the reason why I haven't blogged. Yesterday was my brother's birthday which is also another busy reason. He had two parties, one for his fellow workers and our family during lunch and dinner for his students. It was exhausting and noisy but my brother thrives on it, so whatever.

I'm feeling much better now and hopefully, I'll resume regular programming tomorrow or the next day. Sorry, folks.

i chose spicy pork spareribs. this really delicious although it's a bit too salty for my taste. but the meat was fork tender and well seasoned.

this is hawaiian pizza made from a brick oven or wood oven. i'm not quite sure but i am positive of the taste. this is absolutely to die for. the cheese just melted and it's so fattening!


this is penne bolognese. i love this dish and whenever i come to this resort, i never fail to order this one. i'd be okay not eating the meat, just the pasta and sauce is enough for me.

family matters 2

i haven't written about the bf's mom because... i forgot. = )

anyway, she is still in the metropolis with the bf's younger brother. however, she wanted to come home already because she complains of vertigo (which i think is because of high blood pressure) and stomach pains. she wants the bf to fetch her. unfortunately, the bf is being bullheaded. he wants to take his older brother with him since his mom has plenty of stuff to bring. his mom likes to manage stores and apparently she opened one in his son's place.

his mom asked to come home after christmas. but it'll almost be a month and she still isn't here. the bf is also hesitant to let her come home because she has no place to stay-unless she goes back to her husband. and she says she is never going back there. the bf lives in his place of business and there is no room for her there. she could stay in her older son's house but that isn't a sure thing as well.

so up to now his mom is stuck in a place that she no longer likes to stay in. she won't come home alone and the bf won't fetch her. whatever!
