Me: Babe, it's C's birthday today. She's 6 years old. (C is my female mini pinscher) Let's sing Happy Birthday.
Baby: It's C's birthday? Where's her party?
**nice question!**

We're in the car, on the way home from church.
Me: I really need to pee.
Baby: Me too.
Me: You're wearing diaper.
Baby: Oh.

We're walking to the store.
Baby: Mommy, who's that? (pointing to a house where the owner is visible sitting in her wheelchair)
Me: Don't point baby. It's rude.
Baby: It's a rude house?

grown up talk
I know kids do not talk right and proper yet so I don't really expect my three year old to do so. But in fairness to him, he can speak well enough to be understood. Still, he has funny expressions that make me laugh out loud.
"That's a tenny bear" (teddy bear)
"I'm a menja" (ninja)
"Turn on the aircon, I'm very spiring." (perspiring)
"Okay find." (meaning fine)
"I'm going to tack you (attack you)
"Don't stroyed my shed." (destroy)
"I shout very louder."
********
We play a game called "Open your ___", usually we open body parts like eyes, nose, mouth etc. One time the baby said "open your soldiers" meaning shoulders. I laughed very loudly that the baby was actually embarassed.
******
He likes Thomas the Tank Engine and has a lot of toy trains. He has small trains that he plays with at night in our bed. Last night, this was our conversation.
Baby: Look at Emily, Mommy. Look at him. (Emily is a train also)
Me: Look at her babe, not him. Emily is a girl.
Baby: Emily is not a girl, Mommy. She's a train.
ooops! hahaha!

american reunion
When the American Pie movie came out in 1999, I watched it with my girlfriends. We had initially assumed that it was a sexy movie. We were still in our first year of college and wanted to explore sex and all that entailed. We got the shock of our lives when it was nothing more than a hilarious comedy movie. It was became one of my favorite movies of all time. I made sure to catch the following American Pie movies. Those were disappointing, to say the least.
Last night, I finally got to watch the American Pie: Reunion with my sister and brother-in-law. They're my movie buddies because the bf cannot be dragged to a movie theater. We only watched a movie once-imagine that! And I almost had to drag him kicking and screaming just to come with me! So now, I don't bother asking him. Back to the topic, it was hilarious! I totally loved it because it was a laugh out loud movie. If you have time, do catch it. It's really worth your time. Jim is still as awkward as ever.

my son is three going on twelve. sometimes, he just utters this very outrageous phrases that he makes me laugh out loud, literally. here are a few examples:
baby: i'm scared of mama, papa and ate. i'm scared of those children.
*******
we just got to the store and the baby wants to get out of the car already
baby: let's get out of here before we die.
*******
baby: i'm thirsty
me: you call ate and tell her you want water
baby: i'm serious!
me: who said you aren't, call ate!
*******
i took him to the mall yesterday and it was late so i wanted to go already
me: let's go now babe. you haven't eaten yet.
baby: i don't want to eat. don't worry mommy, we'll just stay here.
******
the baby and his cousin were playing in my room. they were so boisterous that i wanted them to go out. i threatened his cousin that i would take him home.
me: k, do you want to go home?
baby: no mommy, k is mine friend.

you gotta watch this!
image from www.screenrant.comlast night, i watched this film with my sister and her husband. i didn't bother bringing the bf. hahaha! he isn't a fan of movies like me.
i have got to say this movie is worth watching. it's really funny and even my sister can't get over robert downey jr.'s costumes. i am not a good critic so i cannot offer you rave reviews. but if you haven't yet, you gotta watch this.
