chicken today

We got this jar from my father's sister. It either came from Australia or New Zealand, I forget. My aunt's husband has relatives living in both countries and she gave this to us. My sister opened it for a quick taste and then stuck it in the fridge after. I only got around to making it today because I had to travel this week.

The recipe just called for 500 grams of skinless chicken but I added garlic and sliced a bit more button mushrooms plus salt and pepper to taste. I only used half the bottle and about 250 grams of chicken thigh. To be honest, I didn't like very much when I tasted it.

But when I added it to the spaghetti noodles, shredded cheese and added red pepper flakes, it was good. That was my lunch. I didn't even make garlic bread anymore because I forgot.

Besides, I was looking forward to eating my mango crepe. Pardon the mango slices and messy plate. I was hurriedly slicing the mangoes every which way because my pan was already hot. I just sliced one mango, mashed about 1/4 of it in then pan. I added about 5 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla. That was the filling. The crepe consisted of all purpose flour, egg, water, milk, butter and salt. Vanilla ice cream from Magnolia completed it. By the way, I ate two of these! = )
