i had a problem with my baby recently. we have a television and a DVd player in our bedroom. but he wouldn't let me watch the evening news anymore because he always wanted to watch his movies. you know, the usual kid stuff-cartoons! i was willing to go along with it until i could memorize all the lines with my eyes closed. if i wanted to go outside our bedroom to watch tv in the living room, he also won't let me.so i spent many days just singing and laughing along with thomas, dora, blue and the rest of the gang. until i could take it no more. i racked my brain, put on the so-called thinking cap and wondered how to solve this dilemma. then i decided to get a portable dvd player. i could let him use my computer but i figured a dvd player will work best. i looked around town and saw that most of the screens available were kind of small. however since he would only be using it at night, maybe it'll be okay.
last night we (test drove)tried to use the newly purchased portable dvd player while i was watching the news. the sound and noises sort of clashed but we managed.
finally! i can watch television in peace. we sat side by side, him watching Thomas being his usual cheeky self while Ted Failon reported a looming oil price increase! how easy was that huh?
